The National Mediation Board (NMB) dismissed the Aircraft Mechanic Fraternal Association's (AMFA) application to conduct a representation election among mechanic and related workers at American Airlines.
The Board reaffirmed its standard for calculating the showing of interest in American Airlines, Inc.,
31 NMB 539, 552 (2004) involving the same group of employees at issue in this case.

submitted by the Carrier on December 4, 2020.

Job Description – Volunteer EAP Peer Coordinator
The Peer Coordinator advocates for the use of the Members Assistance Program by providing information to employees, their families, union representatives; and management as requested by the member. The Peer Coordinator also communicates regularly with the appropriate Regional Coordinator.
The Peer Coordinator provides support and encourages the employee to accept and follow through on Members Assistance Program/EAP recommendations.
The Peer Coordinator must understand the importance of confidentiality.
The Peer Coordinator will support the employee in the return to work process.
A basic understanding of employee benefits is required.
