Coronaviruses can cause mild to moderate upper respiratory illnesses like the common cold. Occasionally, they can cause lower respiratory tract illnesses like pneumonia or bronchitis –but this is more common with people who have underlying health conditions that have weakened their immune system.

Sisters and Brothers,
Over the past several weeks, the Association, the NMB and American Airlines have been working to reach the tentative agreement our members have been promised and rightfully deserve.
Technical Difficulties with the Direct Deposit Transition
Due to technical difficulties, the direct deposit transition is on hold. Please check back periodically for updates. We will send out an email when the site has been restored. Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience.
Recently the Local 591 EAP/MAP team was in attendance at the annual Benefits Conference held in Nashville Tennessee (BNA). At this meeting we were informed by Union Benefit Planners that American Airlines has decided to remove the TWU Voluntary Benefit deduction lines on our members e-pays. As American Airlines has taken the position that they are not obligated to do so, please note this will not affect AA added benefits or LTD lines. As of now we have no details on when this will take place.
With this uncertainty Union Benefits Planners would like the membership to provide as much information as possible. If you have a TWU VOL Benefits line on your pay stub please log into the TWU website www.twuaaunionbenefits.com and complete as much of the info as you can ASAP. Medical benefits open enrollment period is October 21st through November 1st, 2019. The Local 591 EAP/MAP team will be ready and available to help our members navigate through the enrollment process.
Posted are the presentations given to us at the conference, please review and if you have any questions please contact your EAP/MAP team.
