TWU Local 591 Article X – Section 6 LAX MLS Nights Shop Steward Online Special Election

With the need for membership representation and in accordance with the by-laws of Local 591, specifically article X section 6, an election will take place due to a challenge of the recently appointed position of LAX Nights MLS Shop Steward. The following LAX MLS Nights Members in good standing will be on the electronic ballot.

Nominees are advised to review the posted Shop Steward duties and responsibilities along with the TWU Local 591 Bylaws and Election Campaign Rules for the position.
No Member shall be eligible for nomination or election to any office unless he/she shall have been in continuous good standing in his/her TWU Local Union for a period of twelve (12) months immediately preceding nomination.
 Monday June 27th, 2022, Election Begins at 9:00 AM CDT: Election will take place in the online voting section of the www.local591.com website. if you have not already done so, please register in order to authenticate your member status. TWU Local 591 LAX MLS Members in good standing may access the voting area using the Link provided below. Link only becomes active after the official start time.

Tuesday July 12, 2022, Election Ends at 9:00 A.M CDT: Election closes and the results will be available on the Local 591 website shortly after its conclusion.
Wednesday July 13th, 2022, newly elected LAX MLS Nights Shop Steward term begins ending on the next regular Shop Steward Election cycle.
