COVID-19 Surveillance After Expiration of the Public Health Emergency Declaration ― United States, May 11, 2023
CDC posted a new webpage outlining the impact/changes on data, vaccines, testing and treatment associated with the end of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE) which terminates on May 11, 2023.
CDC has not yet released revised guidelines on infection control in hospitals, nursing homes and healthcare settings that have been tied to the transmission levels for COVID-19, which will no longer be reported after the end of the PHE. Perhaps we will earn more next week.
