This page contains the documents & updates related to the preparations to
renegotiate the M&R, MLS, MTS, and MCT JCBAs
prior to the Amendable Date of June 26, 2027*.

The TWU-IAM Association for the Tech Ops CBAs is in the process of building a website and contract proposal surveys.
That website is expected to be up and running, with the contract suggestion surveys, by August 1st, 2026.
Please check back here, and we will update on the status of the website.

*The Amendable Date for the M&R, MLS, MTS, and MCT Economic Extensions and Settlement & Clarification Letters of Agreement is June 26, 2027, with notice of intent to change the CBAs due by March 26, 2027.

           The Effective Date for the M&R, MLS, MTS, and MCT Economic Extensions and Settlement & Clarification Letters of Agreement (JCBAs) was January 1, 2025.

           The Effective Date & Date of Ratification (DOR) for the M&R, MLS, MTS, and MCT Joint Collective Bargaining Agreements (JCBAs) was March 26, 2020.

Reminder:
Under the Railway Labor Act (RLA) Labor Agreements become amendable at the end of the term of the agreement, RLA Labor Agreements do not expire like Labor Agreements do under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA).
Labor Agreements negotiations process under the Railway Labor Act are regulated by the National Mediation Board (NMB), not the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
