Brothers and Sisters,                                                                          

With the need for membership representation on night shift Stores at DFW, and in accordance with the bylaws of Local 591, specifically article VI section 5(j), I am hereby appointing Gabriel Amaya to the position of Shop Steward at DFW.

This appointment will last for a period of sixty (60) days starting on July 27th 2022.

If any members in DFW Stores wish to fill this appointed position, they must notify Local 591 in writing within thirty (30) days. In the case of a member in good standing who notifies the Local of their desire to run for this appointed position within the required time frame, an election will be held by the expiration of the sixty (60) day period. If no member notifies the Local of their desire to run for the appointed position within the required time frame, the appointment will become permanent.
